As a key member of our clinical reimbursement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and organize the clinical reimbursement area to ensure efficient and accurate processing of claims.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of MS-DRG coding and validation, as well as relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve coding and reimbursement issues.
  • Provide training and support to staff on coding and reimbursement best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging trends in clinical reimbursement.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification.
  • At least five years of progressive coding experience in an acute care setting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of office software products, including Experience Invasion, Comp care, or Smart.
  • Knowledge of N-Coder or 3M.
