Job Title: Radiology/CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology/CT Technologist to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiological exams, computerized tomography, and image reconstruction under the supervision of a radiologist and the CT/Radiology Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiology, computed tomography, and interventional examinations in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures of quality care.
  • Assist in record maintenance and statistics as requested.
  • Participate in student training programs as requested.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Provide coverage for computed tomography within St. Charles Health System, including on-call coverage, holiday, and weekend relief as needed.
  • Competent skills working with computed tomography STAT RAD System.
  • Support the vision, mission, and values of the organization in all respects.
  • Support Value Improvement Practice (VIP- Lean) principles of continuous improvement with energy and enthusiasm, functioning as a champion of change.
  • Provide and maintain a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests.
  • Conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license (OBMI).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT) registry.
  • Valid Oregon State Driver's License.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA BLS/CPR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years' experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • One year experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The position may require working in various hospital locations, including Redmond, Prineville, and Madras.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing and walking for prolonged periods, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 1-25 pounds. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
