About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Swedish Redmond. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.
  • Produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
  • Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
  • May be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, depending on location.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire.
  • Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
