Position Summary for Technical Inside Sales Representative
The Technical Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for our clients, acting as a vital link between the customer and the company. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including direct communication with designated customer accounts and collaboration with internal teams. As a representative, you will utilize computer systems to address customer inquiries and manage sales orders efficiently. You will also work closely with other departments to meet customer requests for technical data, provide order updates, expedite orders, resolve issues, and devise solutions as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills across various communication channels, including face-to-face, phone, and email, while being proficient in a fast-paced office setting.
- Possess the ability to comprehend and convey technical specifications effectively to both internal teams and clients.
Position Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant education or experience is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of proven inside sales or customer service experience in an industrial context, ideally within the valves and flow control sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is essential.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of the industrial manufacturing landscape is required.
- A well-organized individual with strong documentation capabilities is necessary.
