Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Officer Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, organizing, and implementing our Risk Management Program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize loss and protect human, physical, and fiscal assets.
  • Collaborate with safety and security personnel to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Investigate and manage claims, and provide support for litigation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our risk management program through data analysis and trend identification.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to reduce risk and improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related field.
  • Fellow or Diplomat of American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management.
  • Five years of clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management.
