Risk and Compliance Officer Registered Nurse

Southern Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a dedicated and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer Registered Nurse to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and coordinating the Risk Management Program to protect the organization's human, physical, and fiscal assets.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize loss and ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve risk-related issues, promote cost containment, and implement new services and systems.
- Evaluate risk management programs through data analysis and present findings to relevant committees.
- Assist with claims investigation, management, and litigation, as well as facilitate reporting of safety data and events.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
- Fellow or Diplomat of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) is preferred.
- Five years of clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting, including a minimum of two years of inpatient experience, is preferred.
- Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management is preferred.
