We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented City Delivery Dispatcher to join our team at O\u0027Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing city route schedules, functions, and delivery specialists to ensure seamless delivery of parts to our spoke stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate city route schedules and ensure timely delivery of parts to spoke stores.
  • Oversee delivery specialists and ensure they are running on schedule and communicating any delays to stores remaining on route.
  • Maintain organized and clean city delivery areas, divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
  • Monitor hub system and routes for ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses, and communicate recommendations to store managers.
  • Ensure all team members assigned to the hub are clocking in and out according to company policy.
  • Research and resolve any issues with parts not delivered as scheduled and make necessary billing adjustments.
  • Work with store managers to ensure routes are covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialists.
  • Collaborate with store managers and delivery specialists to ensure vehicles are well-maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Provide input to store managers on delivery specialists\u0027 performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
