We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Medical Care Unit RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our patients with pulmonary and hospice needs.
Job SummaryThis is a 12-hour evening shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Medical Care Unit RN, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with pulmonary and hospice needs
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Participate in unit-based shared governance activities
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia
- Associate's Degree, ADN, or Diploma in Nursing
- At least 1 year of RN experience, with preference given to those with experience in pulmonary and hospice care
- BSN degree
- Experience with hospice care and drips/medications related to hospice care
