We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary/Hospice Unit at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing practice, with a focus on expanding their knowledge and skills in pulmonary and hospice care. You will be responsible for providing direct and safe patient care, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and safe patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis, to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Assume a leadership role in promoting a culture of safety, respect, and empathy within the unit.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Associate's Degree, ADN, or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience, with a focus on pulmonary and hospice care.
- BSN degree.
- Experience in a similar role or setting.
