Job Title: Telecommerce Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Telecommerce Intern to join our team at Wow Payments. As a Telecommerce Intern, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through proactive outbound calling and lead qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce our products or services and explain their benefits.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they fit our target customer profile.
  • Schedule appointments for our sales team with qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition of information from the telemarketing team to the sales team.
  • Follow up with leads who have shown interest but are not yet ready to make a purchase.
  • Assist our sales team with the preparation of sales presentations and proposals and provide insights and feedback from telemarketing activities to help refine sales strategies.
  • Gather market information and insights during calls to identify trends and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Good familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales.
  • 1+ years of experience in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards.
  • Confident and charismatic approach to people.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls.
