Job Overview

This role involves supporting the US Army Medical Material Development Activity (USAMMDA) in developing medical products such as drugs, vaccines, devices, and medical support equipment. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide project support to the Administrative Support Division (ASD) and the Office of the Commander (OOC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project support to assigned Division/Project Management Office (PMO), including tasker tracking, reminding assigned team members, and documenting completion status.
  • Support Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by reviewing documents, redacting information, and providing PDFs for leadership review.
  • Maintain documentation records storage process for the Office of the Commander and Administrative Support Division.
  • Set up and attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and staff documents according to Army Regulations AR25-50.
  • Review and edit division correspondence for spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, and format style consistency.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications, answer conference taskers, coordinate travel itineraries, and prepare vouchers as required.
  • Perform various support services, including visitor access control, filing, faxing, copying documents, printing read ahead packages, creating business cards, ordering office supplies, and preparing purchase requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • 5 years of related business administrative/program coordination experience.
  • Effective communication skills, verbal, written, and email correspondence.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe PDF.
  • Experience with Government records management and travel systems, Defense Travel System (DTS), preferred.
  • Excellent coordination skills and ability to work with senior leadership and personnel of higher echelons.
  • U.S. Citizenship and T1 (Public Trust) Clearable.
  • Ability to pass background and drug testing.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 based on location and qualifications.
