Job Summary:

The Production Team Leader is responsible for managing operational requirements under the direction of the Production Manager, emphasizing safety, compliance, and quality. This position requires ensuring adherence to established procedures, facilitating training initiatives, and maintaining effective communication within the operational team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and underscore the significance of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Ensure that operators adhere to safety protocols, best practices, and regulations
  • Assist in preplanning to secure efficient production processes
  • Communicate expectations and outcomes to operators and management
  • Identify challenges, mentor operators, and enforce established procedures
  • Act as Incident Commander in accordance with emergency protocols
  • Tackle technical issues and propose enhancements
  • Monitor utilities and site security
  • Generate production documentation and oversee training programs
  • Manage maintenance tasks and operator assignments

Compliance:

  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
  • Promptly report incidents and ensure a safe work environment

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to problem-solving and learning opportunities
  • Mentor and assist in team development
  • Exhibit autonomy and critical thinking skills

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferably hold IATA, IMDG, or DOT Certification

Experience:

  • 1 year experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
  • Prior leadership experience and knowledge of PPE

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize effectively
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and leadership qualities
  • Alignment with Aurorium's core values
