Position Overview:
The Shipping Coordinator for our greenhouse facility plays a crucial role in supporting our operations by:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a team of 8-10 H2A workers engaged in shipping tasks, order pulling, assembly, and rack construction.
  • Creating pull lists for order fulfillment, managing rack planning, labels, and build sheets.
  • Facilitating communication with H2A workers, tracking weekly hours, and planning for future H2A needs.
  • Managing all order modifications and overseeing pull list assignments, including those for contract growers and short items.
  • Ensuring TC stage 3 order coverage for the TC inventory manager.

Shared Responsibilities:

  • Directing shipping operations and attending weekly production meetings.
  • Inspecting plants to guarantee product quality prior to shipment.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and technology.
  • Managing materials, including order racks and supplies.
  • Prioritizing greenhouse shipping tasks.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
