Descripción del Puesto
El Administrador en Transición tiene como objetivo apoyar una cultura afirmativa y alegre para los estudiantes, construir relaciones sólidas y colaborar con diversos colegas para atender las necesidades académicas y socioemocionales de los estudiantes. Este rol se integrará en el equipo de liderazgo de una escuela cuando surja una vacante. La naturaleza de la escuela y el rol específico se determinarán según las necesidades de la institución y la experiencia del candidato.
Esta es una oportunidad excelente para un individuo flexible y abierto que tenga experiencia previa en liderazgo escolar y esté interesado en explorar nuevas oportunidades dentro de KIPP DC. Los Administradores en Transición son un rol exento y reportarán al Jefe de Escuelas o al director de la escuela asignada.
Responsabilidades Clave
Visión y Metas
- Apoyar el desarrollo de la visión escolar del líder y motivar al personal para alcanzar los objetivos establecidos.
- Conectar la visión y las acciones del equipo con el objetivo de KIPP DC de convertirse en una organización antirracista.
Cultura Escolar
- Fomentar una cultura inclusiva y afirmativa para los estudiantes, trabajando con el personal y las familias.
- Responder de manera predecible a comportamientos estudiantiles que no cumplan con las expectativas culturales de la escuela.
Liderazgo Instruccional
- Comunicar y comprometer a los docentes en una visión instruccional clara e inclusiva para todos los estudiantes.
- Ser una presencia regular en las aulas para ofrecer apoyo y orientación.
Gestión de Talento
- Construir relaciones de confianza con el personal docente como base para el desarrollo y la gestión.
- Identificar brechas académicas y desarrollar planes para mejorar las experiencias y resultados estudiantiles.
Gestión Operativa
- Apoyar al equipo de liderazgo en la ejecución de sistemas operativos escolares.
Competencias
- Enfoque en el Estudiante: Construir relaciones sólidas y mantener altas expectativas para todos los estudiantes.
- Resolución de Problemas: Recopilar información de múltiples fuentes y anticipar problemas.
Calificaciones
KIPP DC busca candidatos para el puesto de Administrador en Transición que estén comprometidos con la misión de que todos los estudiantes pueden aprender y alcanzar altos niveles. Los candidatos deben tener:
- Título universitario.
- Experiencia mínima de cuatro años como docente en materias clave.
- Experiencia en un puesto de liderazgo escolar.
