About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant II to join our team at our Main Campus. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, allowing our caregivers to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

The Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is a world-renowned center for treating complex bone, joint, and connective tissue disorders. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized surgical plans to help patients achieve their highest level of function possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously, acting as a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering, and triage phone calls.
  • Administer calendar and schedule, prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) as required.
  • Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service, and registration.
  • Coordinate management functions and assist in special projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of office experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Completion of on-line Skills Assessment for demonstrated proficiency level.
  • Demonstrate exceptional clerical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Typing proficiency of 45 wpm with accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $16.47

Maximum hourly: $23.61
