We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Louisville Downtown. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Verify reservations, assign rooms, and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Guest Services: Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and activities, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with fellow hotel staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Room Maintenance: Ensure rooms are correctly booked and allocated to guests, and refresh meeting rooms as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of hotel management systems, such as Opera, is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
