We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to fulfill a vital role at AndHealth. The responsibilities of this position encompass all facets of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized treatment strategies for patients and actively engage with them in executing their care plans.
  • Implement and uphold a comprehensive clinical treatment protocol designed and refined by the AndHealth team.
  • Evaluate cases managed by health coaches and provide constructive feedback on their treatment plans.
  • Assess patients' medication readiness and eligibility, managing prescriptions as appropriate.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests as necessary.
  • Monitor patient progress, collaborate with coaches to coordinate care, and participate in clinical rounds to address escalations from coaches and other care team members.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external providers to guarantee that patients receive the necessary care to reverse their chronic conditions.

Education & Licensure Requirements:

  • A degree as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
  • Specialization in Dermatology or Rheumatology is preferred.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a Physician Assistant with experience in family medicine, neurology, internal medicine, integrative medicine, or primary care.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and are adept at managing patient relationships through telehealth technologies.
  • You appreciate the significance of documentation, are proficient with electronic health records, and are committed to providing the necessary details to demonstrate clinical outcomes.
  • You are enthusiastic about creating innovative care models that may diverge from traditional healthcare practices and are eager to build an evidence base for our approach.
  • You hold active, unrestricted licenses and are open to the organization facilitating additional state licenses for you.
  • You have a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for patients through various treatment methods.
  • You believe in the potential to reverse many chronic diseases through a root cause approach and are dedicated to addressing root causes alongside symptom management.
  • You are passionate about technology and innovation, thriving in an environment that fosters new care models.
  • You are committed to going the extra mile to ensure an exceptional experience for patients.
  • You aspire to make a significant impact on patients and provider partners, earning their trust as a reliable partner in their healthcare journey.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proof of a negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
  • Documentation of immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or a blood titer.
  • Proof of Varicella vaccination (two documented doses or a blood titer).
  • Completion of the Hepatitis B series.
  • Influenza vaccination is required.
  • COVID vaccination is required.
