IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist at Bostwick Braun Company, Inc., you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to internal clients, analyzing and troubleshooting technology issues, and evaluating the effectiveness of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all functions of the company, including computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Install and configure new technology, including computer operating systems, software programs, and applications.
- Perform regular maintenance on phone systems, computer systems, printers, and other technical equipment.
- Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to ensure employees have the necessary tools to work efficiently.
- Troubleshoot common problems related to Internet connectivity, hardware, software, operating systems, and data security and management.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Provide IT customer service through various channels, including face-to-face, phone, email, and chat.
- Install and configure software applications and updates.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- High school diploma required, associate's degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
- CompTIA A+ Boot Camp certification preferred but not required.
- At least two years' experience in a professional IT work environment.
- Familiarity with multiple computer operating systems, such as Windows, Mac, and Linux operations.
- General knowledge of troubleshooting Internet connectivity, phone systems, network systems, security platforms, and other technological office equipment.
- Ability to create databases and utilize Excel spreadsheets at an advanced level.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire to help the company succeed.
