About the Role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Procedural Preparation and Recovery. This role requires a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care and a deep understanding of specific patient populations. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge, research, and experience to adapt to clinical changes effectively. This RN will implement the Synergy Model for Care in practice, personalizing care for each patient and their family while serving as a resource and advocate for colleagues. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, reliable, and effective care to patients independently, employing the nursing process
- Applying the Synergy Model for Care to tailor care for each patient and family
- Communicating respectfully and effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members
- Accurately documenting the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways)
- Incorporating patient and family input into care planning
- Evaluating patient responses to care and adjusting plans as necessary
- Recognizing patient needs and advocating based on clinical knowledge
- Acknowledging cultural differences in developing patient and family relationships
- A valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Graduation from an accredited nursing program with 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS may be necessary in specific departments.
- Exceptions: Current LPNs within the EHC system who complete an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure may be eligible to transition to the Nurse Clinician title while participating in the Resident program.
