Position Summary
$48 Per Hour / 4 10-Hour Shifts
We are currently seeking a Registry Registered Nurse for the Admissions Recovery Unit. This role requires a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care, who possesses a deep understanding of the specific needs of our patient population. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge, research, and practical experience to effectively respond to evolving clinical scenarios. This nursing professional will:
- Provide safe, reliable, and effective care to patients, independently employing the nursing process.
- Implement the Synergy Model for Care in practice, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family.
- Engage in respectful and effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Accurately document the nursing process in the appropriate formats.
- Incorporate patient and family input into the care planning process.
- Assess patient responses to care and modify plans as necessary.
- Advocate for patients based on a comprehensive understanding of their conditions.
- Recognize and respect cultural differences in developing relationships with patients and families.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 24 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years.
- Possession of a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in certain departments.
