About the Opportunity

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue (BGCB) is seeking a skilled Fundraising Manager to join our team in community development. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors who can help us achieve our mission.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in major gifts fundraising, knowledge of funders in the region, and a deep understanding of the local philanthropic landscape. You will work closely with our Chief Development Officer to develop strategies, metrics, and reports that drive individual giving revenue growth.

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can develop effective engagement and solicitation strategies for a diverse group of individual donors. You will manage a portfolio of 85-125 current and prospective individual donors, complete substantive donor engagements, and document interactions with prospects. Your expertise in relationship management, prospect research, and communication will enable you to articulate our organization's mission, goals, and stories in a persuasive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual goals and objectives for the major giving program
  • Establish and lead an Individual Giving program to expand donations from individual donors
  • Implement a coordinated moves management matrix of communication, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
  • Manage a portfolio of 85-125 current and prospective individual donors
  • Complete 15-20 substantive donor engagements per month, documenting interactions with prospects
  • Conduct visits, prepare correspondence and proposals, and plan development events such as the Champions of Youth Gala and Auction
  • Work with the CDO and Donor Data Manager to create infrastructure for the individual giving program
About Us

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k program, life insurance, disability insurance, education/training/wellness reimbursement benefits, paid time off, and all bank holidays off.
