Overview: The KKC Culinary Specialist reports directly to the Store Manager. This role is pivotal in the preparation and cooking of food items in a prompt, clean, and systematic manner, adhering to established guidelines and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
  • Prepare an adequate amount of chicken for operational demands and create batter mixtures.
  • Organize the batter station, fryers, and chicken storage units, ensuring all necessary tools are ready.
  • Cook all food items as per business requirements and under the direction of the Manager, utilizing fryers with oil at designated temperatures.
  • Guarantee that all food products meet quality standards, following strict holding times and temperature guidelines.
  • Return any unused batter and chicken to refrigeration after cooking.
  • Label and rotate products using the first in, first out method.
  • Maintain appropriate oil levels in fryers.
  • Clean and filter fryers at scheduled intervals in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Keep the workspace tidy, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Ensure that floors are free from obstacles, debris, and are dry.
  • Confirm that all necessary supplies and products are stocked and accessible.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of refrigeration units.
  • Set up the dishwashing area for sanitation purposes.
  • Execute tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
  • Positive demeanor and collaborative spirit.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Well-organized with effective time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts throughout the week.
