About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Distribution Center Coordinator to join our Somafina team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and shipping of goods and supplies, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of orders from start to finish. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in meeting the demands of this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: $40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Distribution Center Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the receipt, storage, and shipping of goods and supplies;
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and tracking the movement of materials;
  • Operating and maintaining powered industrial trucks and other equipment as needed;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience or training;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently;
  • Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks and other equipment;
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in data entry;
Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely around the warehouse environment.
