Job Overview

At Office Pride of Louisville, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Recruitment and Office Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing all phases of the recruitment process, collaborating with area managers to refine job descriptions and hiring criteria, and identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics, and the ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Additionally, they will be proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative, and possess excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

As a Recruitment and Office Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling interviews and reviewing interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. You will also conduct interviews with qualified candidates, and occasionally with other managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the area managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement all phases of the recruitment process
  2. Collaborate with area managers to refine job descriptions and hiring criteria
  3. Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
  4. Screen applications and select qualified candidates
  5. Schedule interviews and review interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  6. Conduct interviews with qualified candidates
  7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  2. Two to three years' experience in an office setting
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  5. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  6. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  7. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
