Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

A high-level attorney with 5+ years of law practice experience is sought by Gravis Law, PLLC. The successful candidate will thrive in a supportive environment with autonomy to manage their workload. The attorney will receive a substantial portion of their work through the firm's lead generation and marketing efforts, as well as from other attorneys in the office. They are expected to generate a portion of their own billable work and participate in marketing efforts to promote the firm's services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mediation experience with a successful track record
  • Significant trial experience with a strong success rate
  • Research and analysis of complex legal issues
  • Writing and drafting of legal documents, including memorandums, briefs, and letters
  • Marketing and promoting the firm's services to prospective clients
  • Discovery and analysis of electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
  • Due diligence in all matters
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, including empathetic listening
  • Scheduling and managing a workload to meet production and collection objectives
  • Closing consults within the firm's range of 30-50% depending on practice area
  • Timely approval of invoices to ensure the health of the business
  • Utilizing support staff effectively and ensuring they are productive
  • Accurately updating client information and invoices
  • Sharing work tasks with other attorneys and support staff as needed
  • Engaging in brand expansion through social media, blogs, and organization participation
  • Seeking positive comments and reviews from clients
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
  • Admission to the bar in the state in which they intend to practice
  • 5+ years of experience as an attorney

Work Environment:
