About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Aisin Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using technical knowledge and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless equipment operation and optimal production outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance equipment performance, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college or technical school coursework completed is a plus.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance; experience with high and low voltage electricity handling is a plus.
  • Skills: Problem-solving mindset, goal-oriented, willingness to learn, efficient and effective communication skills, ability to safely handle various tools, and basic computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Able to work in various manufacturing environments, including roof and outdoors; able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work rotating shifts and/or overtime as needed.
