Senior Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of short-term trading strategies to optimize portfolio profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute trades and manage risk.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Management team to optimize asset performance and maximize returns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key market participants, including power marketers, generators, and transmission providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as finance, statistics, or economics.
  • 8+ years of experience in energy trading and portfolio management, with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with energy market analysis and trading software, such as cQuant.
