Job Summary

Aramark is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our district operations as an Area General Manager. This key role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the district, ensuring the successful implementation of our Executional Framework, and driving business growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives, focusing on client growth and retention, labor performance, and cost management.
  • Lead the safety culture and troubleshoot operational problems in collaboration with all functions on-site and within the district.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach management staff and front-line personnel to provide ongoing support and development.
  • Drive Operational Excellence culture and safety leadership, and all key initiatives relating to these core values, to provide a positive Market Center environment within the district.
  • Maintain all business records, processes, and documentation as required, including personnel records, delivery and invoice records, product and asset inventories, and client sales and contact information.
Requirements
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience with an Associate's Degree or at least 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must be able to obtain DOT certification and operate DOT-regulated vehicles.
  • Must have basic mechanical skills or ability to learn and train, contract management, and client retention experience.
  • Must have prior experience with direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
  • Must be able to travel between locations in the district.
  • Requires critical and high-level business contacts leading difficult negotiations that impact the business.
  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the district business in both the short and long term.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
