Job Title: Lead Designer, Mens Basketball Create Footwear Product Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Designer to join our team in creating innovative and high-quality footwear products for the Mens Basketball category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the design direction for Mens Basketball footwear products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and style.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and product development, to bring designs from concept to reality.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with consumer trends, market insights, and competitor activity, and apply this knowledge to inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with athletes, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Mens Basketball category, including its history, culture, and consumer behavior.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and innovations, and apply this knowledge to drive design excellence.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in footwear design, with a focus on Mens Basketball.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading design direction for high-profile footwear products.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative design solutions.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with athletes, partners, and external stakeholders.
