About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Design Director to lead our Innovation Basketball Footwear team. As a key member of our design community, you will be responsible for driving the creative direction of our basketball footwear products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design direction for basketball footwear products, ensuring alignment with the company's overall creative vision.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary design team, including product designers, material designers, color designers, and graphic designers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Evaluate consumer trends, macro global insights, and marketplace analysis to drive a connected experience across all models and styles within Basketball.
  • Communicate and build on design vision, results, and stories to various audiences, including executive leaders, external partners, and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in product creation, design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product creation, design, and development, with a focus on footwear.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation, consumer experience, and product creation.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to present new ideas and seasonal concepts to various audiences.
