About the Role

Atrius Health, a leading healthcare organization, seeks a highly skilled Director of Infrastructure Operations to join its team. As a key member of the IT leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technology operations, ensuring the availability and stability of systems, and aligning with organizational goals and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct team in day-to-day technology operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Establish short and long-range goals to ensure infrastructure is equipped for current needs and aware of future plans for growth.
  • Actively manage growth needs with financial stewardship in mind.
  • Collaborate with Optum experts to implement standards, policies, and procedures necessary to ensure the viability and integrity of the infrastructure and related processes.
  • Direct workflow, resolve technical problems, and ensure general operations conform to established standards.
  • Ensure that all systems, applications, and network connections are at 100% availability to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a 24x7 support/service model.
  • Work with the Optum national security practice to continually monitor security trends and regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Responsible for the security of the infrastructure through the management of security and intrusion prevention methodologies as outlined by IT Information Security policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education, training, or experience) in computer science or related discipline.
  • Seven to ten years of management experience, including a record of successful delivery of IT solutions as an IT Manager.
  • Strong, hands-on operations background with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of IT Infrastructure.
  • Significant experience with mission-critical systems in a 24X7X365 environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address issues that arise, day-or-night.
  • Strong project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to support delivering projects on time.
  • Experience planning and breaking down a task into sub-tasks and estimating effort to perform the work.
  • Familiarity with various requirements gathering techniques.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with multiple customers and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.
