Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Site Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing Community Services initiatives, specifically the Family Day Out (FDO) program. This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional services and supporting the mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff involved in day services (Family Day Out - FDO) and coordinate additional weekend services as necessary.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise Direct Care Staff to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with the Family Support Services Manager to ensure appropriate child-to-staff ratios and effective classroom assignments.
  • Oversee the execution of curriculum for weekend services (FDO) and other collaborative efforts.
  • Plan and organize daily activities in alignment with the curriculum for weekend services, summer camps, and other partnerships.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and respect for property.
  • Complete Developmental Checklists for weekend programs and summer camps.
  • Submit purchase orders with necessary approvals and procure items as authorized.
  • Communicate weekly with the Family Support Services Manager to facilitate smooth operations of weekend services and camps.
  • Maintain and enhance the appearance of Camp rooms, FDO rooms, and other collaborative spaces.
  • Keep accurate student files, documentation, site protocols, and attendance records.
  • Ensure timely completion of paperwork, including time sheets, schedules, behavior logs, incident reports, and supply requests.
  • Report incidents and emergencies to the Family Support Services Manager.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor, emphasizing professionalism, attitude, and attendance.
  • Participate in required training to uphold the Site Supervisor designation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass background checks, including criminal record checks and drug testing.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
