Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to join our Operations Management team at ResCare Community Living. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological well-being. You will also be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring they follow procedures to promote optimum health care and behavior supports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff to ensure they provide high-quality care and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement activity schedules for individuals served, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are promoted.
  • Monitor and ensure staff completes all documentation as required, including daily progress notes, data sheets, and incident reports.
  • Manage labor hours and ensure assigned service sites are operating within budgetary guidelines.
  • Responsible for client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure staffing ratios are in compliance with regulatory and service plan requirements.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or a Social Science degree.
  • One year of supervisory experience required.
  • Previous experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related disorders preferred.
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
