Job Summary

ISI Professional Services is seeking a skilled Construction Surveillance Technician to support our Federal customer at a major campus in the National Capital Region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide physical security in accordance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) policies and Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1.
  2. Conduct surveillance and monitor construction activities to ensure security integrity.
  3. Inspect and report unauthorized technical penetrations and clandestine devices.
  4. Collaborate with the Government Site Security Manager to ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
  5. Implement screening and inspection procedures for uncleared construction personnel.
  6. Conduct inspections of Protected Distribution System (PDS) and report anomalies.
Requirements
  1. High School diploma or GED required.
  2. Active TS/SCI clearance.
  3. Minimum three years' experience in construction with knowledge of two or more disciplines: Carpentry, Electricity, Plumbing, HVAC, Sheet Metal, Welding, Dry Wall, or Masonry.
  4. Knowledge of construction safety, project cycles, and common nomenclature.
  5. Fluent English language skills.
  6. Ability to complete written reports and forms.
  7. Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand for 8 hours or longer per day.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
  • This position may require lifting, standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to walk across uneven surfaces, climb ladders, and frequently go up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Must be able to make logical, mentally competent, and safe decisions when working on a construction site.
Work Setting/Environment/Travel Requirements
  • Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
