Position Summary:
The Laboratory Support Technician will play a vital role in managing and organizing glassware within the laboratory setting.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key ResponsibilitiesAbout You:
- Wash, organize, and manage glassware in Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories according to established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Sanitize laboratory benches, shelves, temperature-controlled units, and all adjacent areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in the Sterility clean room suite.
- Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of additional company areas as required.
- Adhere to cGDP and cGMP standards to comply with FDA, ICH, and DEA regulations.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel as necessary.
- Document laboratory activities in notebooks in accordance with cGMP and internal protocols.
- Understand and ensure compliance with the Quality System, including manuals and procedures relevant to ISO 9001.
- Keep a tidy and organized laboratory workspace.
- Practice safety protocols within the laboratory environment.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure from high sample volumes and tight deadlines.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, stoop, and crouch for up to 80% of the time while performing job duties.
- May require lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Weekend rotations may be necessary as needed.
