About the position:

The Laboratory Sanitation Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and organizing glassware within the laboratory environment.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Your Profile:

  • Thoroughly wash, organize, and manage glassware in Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories according to established Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Clean and disinfect laboratory surfaces, shelves, temperature-controlled storage, and all adjacent areas.
  • Sanitize the Sterility clean room suite.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in other company areas as required.
  • Adhere to cGDP and cGMP standards to comply with FDA, ICH, and DEA regulations.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks in accordance with cGMP and internal protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality System, including the manual and applicable procedures related to ISO 9001.
  • Keep a tidy and organized laboratory workspace.
  • Implement laboratory safety protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to effectively manage responsibilities under pressure from high sample volumes and tight deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, stoop, and crouch for up to 80% of the time while performing job duties.
  • May require lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Weekend rotations may be necessary as needed.
