Job DescriptionThe Field Sales Associate - Wine Products will be responsible for promoting and selling our wine products to new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Maryland alcohol sales and customer service industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Presenting and selling our wine products and services to new and existing trade customers
- Prospecting and contacting potential customers to increase sales revenue
- Coordinating and / or conducting product promotions at retail customers
- Routinely contacting and visiting existing customers to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships
- Reaching agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
- Creating sales materials to present to customers
- Managing or monitoring deliveries to customers
- Monitoring and managing customer accounts receivable
Requirements
- Previous experience in Maryland alcohol sales and customer service required
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Additional Requirements
- Background check required
- Valid driver's license with clean 3-year record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Be able to lift / carry at least a case of wine (32 lbs) regularly
- Be able to pour wine samples for all customers
- Have or be able to acquire Alcohol Server training
