Job Summary

Maintain and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization across the Lynn University campus. Foster strong relationships with staff members to guarantee seamless departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clear instructions and expectations to the housekeeping team, outlining daily and weekly tasks, as well as special project objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work performed by the housekeeping team.
  • Offer real-time feedback to the team, promoting high standards of performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping to develop training programs and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify and address equipment, supply, and facility needs, ensuring optimal functionality and maintenance.
  • Manage supply inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock for each staff member and location.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to address concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide on-call support for emergency situations, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
  • Process incoming and outgoing communications, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety protocols, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong reading and interpretation skills, with the ability to understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with basic computer skills.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or three years of related experience and/or training.
