Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Housekeeping Team Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. This role involves leading a team of 3 to 4 members responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of various residential and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a team player capable of managing multiple cleaning assignments daily after completing a comprehensive training program. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional, efficient, and courteous service while executing the The Maids 22-Step Healthy Touch Deep Cleaning System.
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed honestly, safely, and in compliance with The Maids policies and procedures.
  • Delegating tasks and supervising team members to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Assessing team member performance and making recommendations for promotions, transfers, or terminations.
  • Training both new and existing team members as necessary.
  • Handling daily reporting, including customer feedback, payment collections, timekeeping, and vehicle usage.
  • Reporting any operational issues to management, such as mechanical failures or delays.
  • Participating in the recruitment and interviewing process for new staff.

  • Proficiency in using cleaning equipment, including vacuums.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Previous experience in a leadership role with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of management principles related to leadership and resource coordination.
  • Capability to perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Basic computer skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of cleaning experience.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (Spanish/Portuguese) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
