Key Responsibilities- Perform all duties as assigned to housekeeping personnel, including cleaning and maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and functions as needed.
- Ensure superior cleaning and detail service to all equipment and facilities, including removal of recycling and trash.
- Carry materials, supplies, and equipment in and around all facilities, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Report housekeeping and maintenance problems nightly, addressing them directly with the supervisor.
- Keep inventory and location of all equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Prepare set-ups for meetings and breakdown of meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years of experience in maintenance/housekeeping.
- Broad overview of the YMCA as it operates as a local, national, and international movement.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50 pounds or more, and possess auditory, verbal, and visual capabilities.
