About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Air & Missile Defense Software Department, you will play a critical role in developing software in support of new system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and understand software requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
  • Develop clear and concise test objectives that guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Create innovative and effective test cases, both manual and automated, based on test objectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing of new and modified software in our on-site lab environment.
  • Analyze test results in relation to specified requirements and clearly document any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with other test engineers and developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Software Engineering.
  • Experience in Validation, Verification, Requirements Analysis and/or Testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Prior experience within Patriot software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Raytheon software development process is also helpful.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to identify and document any anomalies or inconsistencies in software performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues.
