Job Title: Principal Technical Program Manager

Xometry, a leading AI-driven marketplace for custom manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that drive the success of our most strategic projects.

This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual to oversee and manage complex, cross-functional programs across multiple teams and departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong business acumen, and deep expertise in managing sophisticated AI/ML projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end management of large-scale, cross-functional programs that align with the company's strategic priorities.
  • Drive program planning, from concept through to execution and post-launch analysis.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Operations, and Finance teams to set realistic project goals, timelines, and milestones.
  • Implement robust project management processes and frameworks that enhance execution speed, transparency, and accountability.
  • Lead risk management and mitigation strategies to proactively identify and address roadblocks or delays.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, ensure alignment across teams, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable communication on project progress, risks, and outcomes to executive teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and process management, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
  • Foster a high-performance culture across teams, ensuring alignment to company goals and maintaining high morale in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects in a technology-driven company.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and applying lean methodologies to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Experience in launching new user-facing products and AI/ML applications.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of how technology solutions drive business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior and executive leaders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, make quick decisions, and drive high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC holder
