Job Summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function and safety
  • Maintain and repair existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential fire hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience installing pipe systems and valves; 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, customer service skills, decision-making skills, ability to multitask, and ability to meet project schedules required
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
  • Ability to comply with SFS's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements
