Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to join our esteemed client's team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the design, implementation, and coordination of safety and loss control policy with a General Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety performance and provide guidance to employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on safety best practices.
  • Provide safety support and guidance to employees and contractors during emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction safety management.
  • Proven track record of working with self-perform crews, particularly in masonry, carpentry, or cast-in-place concrete operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or related certifications highly valued.
  • Proficient in reading, comprehending, and interpreting safety standards and related issues.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, as required by the demands of the role.
