Job Summary

The Project Manager at Brooks Construction Company, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and mentor construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators, engineers, and accountants, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy highway construction, with a strong background in project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.
Working Environment

The Project Manager will work in an office and field environment, with regular travel to construction sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Project Manager will supervise and mentor construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
