Job DescriptionAre you a seasoned safety professional in the construction industry looking for a new challenge? LEAD Staffing is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment by assisting the Safety Manager with program execution, field supervision, training, and administration. Your bilingual skills in English and Spanish will be essential in effectively communicating safety protocols across our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Perform injury and incident investigations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead weekly toolbox safety meetings and maintain attendance records.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Contractors to ensure effective collaboration and compliance.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and maintain safety documentation.
  • Provide first aid and medical treatment as needed, and coordinate safety representative meetings.
  • Implement disciplinary and corrective actions when necessary.


Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, and AED training.
  • Emergency procedures training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a national background check and drug test.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly with professional standard grammar.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to demonstrate dexterity of fingers (or mechanical substitutions).
