Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager

About the Role:

Tyto Athene, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the SSC Product Support Manager within SSC's SDA&CP Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Offer consultation and guidance in acquisition program management and logistics lifecycle activities, collaborating with sustainment engineering, cyber, test, and evaluation team members to support the SSC government integrated planning team.
• Expert Advice: Provide counsel to the Materiel Leader/Program Manager and Senior USSF and Air Force Leadership on acquisition strategies, product support, logistics, contracting, budgeting, and execution.
• Oversight and Facilitation: Lead program management and logistics activities between operational stakeholders and developmental program activities supporting SZY and SZP.
• Communication and Presentation: Clearly and concisely advise and present information to stakeholders and Senior Military Leadership on program milestone decisions and processes, ensuring continued program success.
• Technical Analyses: Provide a wide range of acquisition/sustainment technical analyses, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps, to the Government Program Manager.
• PPBE Efforts: Facilitate Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) efforts to obtain and execute funding necessary to deliver required capabilities across the program portfolio.
• Strategic Acquisition Planning: Participate and contribute to the development and coordination of strategic acquisition planning and pre-award activities and documentation.
• Solicitation Planning: Lead development and coordination of solicitation planning and execution activities and documentation.
• Program Planning and Execution: Manage and assist in the development and coordination of overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 and relevant Department of Defense, Air Force, USSF, and SSC policies.
• Technical Evaluations: Draft technical evaluations and function as an advisor in source selections.
• Acquisition Program Support: Support one or more acquisition programs with responsibility for performance and schedule execution.
• Integrated Scheduling and Risk Management: Lead integrated scheduling and active risk management activities for Operations Integration, Logistics, and Product Support.
• Program Scheduling and Reporting: Prepare program scheduling activities, meetings, briefings, reports, and analyze information in support of SZP developmental programs.
• Operations Training and Documentation: Support operations training and technical documentation development, including Technical Orders (TOs), coordination, and operations integration.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with operations and development stakeholders to facilitate identifying and designating SMEs who will assist in obtaining information critical for development.
• Military Organization Coordination: Frequently coordinate with multiple military organizations (including Joint, Space Force, Air Force, and Navy organizations).
• Concept Development: Review and provide input to enabling concepts, concept of operations, and multi-agency agreements supporting program development and integration.
• Acquisition Concepts and Procedures: Adept at a variety of acquisition concepts, phases, and procedures; participate in technical studies, and performance reviews.
• Classified Systems and Networks: Experience working on classified government systems and networks.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience: 10 or more years of DoD and related Space operations experience, specifically acquisition program and logistics management and/or operational experience
• Space Operations Experience: Experience with Air Force and/or Space Force operations, command and control (C2), theater operations, space tasking cycle, and operator training.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Technical Writing: Demonstrated competency in technical writing
• Agile Experience: Familiarity operating under agile conditions as a member of a Scrum team
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills
• MS Office Products: Familiar with MS Office products
• Multi-Disciplinary Team Experience: Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of Military and technical managers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree: Master's degree
• Acquisition Certifications: Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe), Project Management Institute- Agile Certified Professional (PMI- ACP), Certified Scrum Master, PMP or similar certification
• Advanced Acquisition Experience: 15 or more years of DoD and/or Space Operations experience, specifically acquisition, logistics and/or operational experience, development of requirements, specifications, and proposals
• Defense Acquisition University Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) Curriculum: Certification by Defense Acquisition University Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) curriculum as part of the Defense Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
• Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC) Experience: Familiarity working with or at the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), US Space Command (USSPACECOM), and/or Space Force Field Commands
• Cloud-Based DevSecOps Platform One Enterprise Service: Experience/knowledge navigating the Air Force's cloud-based DevSecOps Platform One enterprise service
• Product Repository Experience: Experience/familiarity working as a Product Repository technician or lead.
