Acquisition Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Management Professional to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our defense acquisition team, you will play a critical role in supporting the warfighter by aiding in the acquisition of essential resources and ensuring the success of our clients' missions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to inform acquisition program teams on best practices and policies related to the Defense Acquisition System and Adaptive Acquisition Framework 5000 series.
- Provide recommendations on acquisition pathways, including documentation tailoring and baselining, to ensure effective and efficient program execution.
- Plan, track, and meet deadlines for multiple tasks across multiple programs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting acquisition programs, applying this knowledge to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- 5+ years of experience in defense acquisition, with a strong understanding of the Defense Acquisition System and Adaptive Acquisition Framework 5000 series.
- Proven track record of providing recommendations and guidance to acquisition program teams on acquisition pathways and documentation requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and Microsoft Project.
- APDP Certification at the Program Management Level I or higher.
