Mechanic - Vehicle Maintenance Technician

First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Stamford, Darien, and Greenwich school districts. As a Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our students and passengers by performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of buses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Complete work orders and assist with mobile emergency services
- Diagnose and repair issues with our fleet of buses
- A competitive hourly rate of $29.65 to $32.80, based on experience and qualifications
- ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
- A Monday-Friday schedule with a 9:00 am - 6:00 pm full-time shift
- Union benefits, including 100% medical coverage for individual plans

- 1+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
