As a Mechanic at First Student, you'll perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of buses, ensuring they're safe for road travel. Your day will include tasks such as:
- Performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Completing work orders and troubleshooting issues.
- Assisting with mobile emergency services and ensuring our fleet is always ready to go.
As a Mechanic, you'll be subject to DOT drug testing and must adhere to safety regulations. If you're passionate about working with your hands, have a valid driver's license, and are willing to obtain a CDL, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL.
- A mechanic's tool set and a passion for learning and growing.
